Mophie have added the Juice Pack Plus for the iPhone 4 to their extensive range of extended battery products. The battery is stored inside a case for your phone and as we mentioned in the title, is rated at a capacity of 2000mAh, which is claimed to return an extra 8 hours 3G talktime, 7 hours 3G data or 44 hours music playback.
Rather than being only available in their usual sombre black, the Juice Pack Plus also comes in cyan, magenta or yellow, which even from the photos look retina-searingly bright! It also looks rather compact for a case with a sizable battery inside, and is said to add just 1mm in thickness to your iPhone 4.
The case has a switch to to take it out of standby and start charging your phone, plus it has a 4-LED light charge indicator similar to the one seen on the Mophie Juice Pack Reserve we reviewed a while back. You’ll notice in the pictures the case extends below the base of the iPhone 4, something which Mophie have used to the speakers advantage, as it pushes the sound forwards instead of down.
Right now you can only buy the regular black version, the others are due soon, and it costs $99.95 from Mophie themselves.
