Cool Scandanavian headphones manufacturer Urbanears has added a new pair of ‘made for iPhone’ cans to their range. Named the Plattan Plus, they are modified versions of their existing Plattan models, with a couple of additional interesting features.
As you’ll see from the pictures, they’re full-size ‘phones with an adjustable headband and a fabric cord, plus they have something called a ‘zound-plug’, allowing a second pair of headphones to be plugged in to your iPhone or iPod Touch. To make them suitable for iPhone use, there is an inline microphone and remote control, plus volume up and down buttons.
They will be available in red, white, aubergine and dark grey starting tomorrow, the 2nd November, when they will retail for $60 in the USA. The Plattan Plus have yet to appear on Urbanears’ website, so their Euro price isn’t known.
